Fashion Steps Out in Style

This is the 6th year of Fashion Steps Out where Orchard Road glammed up for a night filled with amazing fashion designs. It's my first time attending this event, thanks to Raffles Singapore! This year's line-up features Pleatation, my girl Chiang XiaoJun's label (always so proud of you!), Sean and Sheila, Paul Nathaphol, Ashley Isham, Mary Katrantzou, Depression, Pauline Ning, Max Tan, Francis Cheong, etc.

My favorite collections would be Sean and Sheila, Mary Katrantzou, Pleatation and Pauline Ning.

Sean and Sheila's collection was inspired by Japanese dance culture and I really loved the luxurious fabrics used for the coats. The embroidery was incredible too. Both of them looked so worn out for sewing their collection when we visited them few days back but it's really worth it! You guys did a great job! (:

Mary Katrantzou was amazing as usual, very vibrant, fun and sharp. Some of the prints were too cute for tots. Normally I would disagree with wigs but the styling was on point for this collection.

I'm a big fan of pleats - sunray pleats, starburst pleats and shaped pleats. Pleatation did the classy vibe right with the rich gold and silver tones and flowly volume for their 'Anarchia' collection this time.

Pauline Ning always keeps me falling in love with her minimal aesthetics and clean silhouettes. This capsule collection was once again, structured and soft altogether. So beautiful.

It's quite an experience for me as I've never attended a fashion show that showcases on such a long stretch of road before. I even liked how the photos turned out with the busy background, some of them even feel Tokyo-ish.

I was wearing a lightweight cocoon shaped coat from Korea, Elska's top and G2000's high waisted shorts. Major love to Jes for capturing my ootd shot! x
