I’ve heard so much about TWG yet I haven’t got the chance to try until now. I’m a tea lover and I love trying out different tea flavors. And what would be better than the well-known TWG Tea? TWG Tea has over 800 different single-estate harvests and exclusive blends from every tea producing country which is really extensive and amazing.
Sen brought me to the outlet at Takashimaya. For a start, we had 1837 White Tea, it has a light aroma with delectable under tones of warm earthy flavor. The second tea we tried was Imperial Rose Tea, it is soothing and also has a sweet aroma, slightly stronger than 1837 White Tea. I did not add sugar for both teas as I’m not a sugar/sweet tooth person.
I had Eggs Benedict while Sen had Pan-seared marinated cod fish. We enjoyed the food as they were good however the portions were quite small so we had to order more desserts.
For desserts, we had Strawberry Mille Feuille & Crème Brulee Tart. The Strawberry Mille Feuille was delicious, a little too sweet for my taste but I love strawberries so it was satisfying. Crème Brulee Tart was filled with vanilla bourbon tea-infused cream and strawberries and it’s really good, one of their best sellers. We also had a go at their ice cream. Napoleon Tea & Caramel, Earl Grey Fortune & Chocolate and Camelot Tea & Praline. Not too bad but as much as I’m a tea lover, I don’t really appreciate the tea flavored ice cream.
Lastly we had macarons! My personal favorites would be Napoleon Tea and Caramel and Bain de Rose Tea.
Overall, TWG is a great choice for tea lovers and sweet desserts. I enjoy their ambience very much, super comfortable. I would definitely go back for more tea! :)
Love,
